"Existential Needs" include Relatedness, Transcendence, Rootedness, Sense of Identity and Frame of Orientation.

Relatedness is when an individual desires to connect with others while still retaining self-individuality and probity.

Transcendence is embracing our accidental existence. There are two methods of reasoning with transcendence, one displaying aggressiveness and destroying others, or two, caring for others and the world. Eric Fromm argued the importance of feeling a sense of homeness in the world & to have greater connections and ties to the outside world, nature.

According to Fromm it is common to feel alienated as you begin your journey. Fromm referred to this as Rootedness.

Sense Of Identity, a simple explanation, every individual needs to identify with who they are authentically. There is an authentic self, and one should be driven to uncover who they are by resisting conformity.

Frame Of Orientation, this frame of reference can provide a coherent map of the world, providing people with an understanding of the world & their place in it (Fromm, 2017)

Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. James 5:16
